Joinery in Kent, Specialist in Staircases and Windows

About Us

Designer and Manufacturer of Bespoke Doors, Windows and Stairs.

Company History

Foxcote Joinery Limited is a family run business specialising in the design, manufacture and construction of bespoke doors, windows and joinery products.

The company has worked in partnership with, and designed and fashioned joinery for, industries such as shop fitters and main contractors in the construction sector. We have been commissioned by many local and London based companies as well as Local Authorities, schools, restaurants and even a fire station to construct items which include the following:

  • Door entry system
  • Security doors
  • Screen dividers
  • Reception desk

We regularly undertake commissions for private individuals to design and create bespoke items which in the past have included windows, doors, conservatories, gates, greenhouses and staircases, one of which as featured in a popular magazine.

Whilst we specialise in the supply and manufacture of our joinery we are more than happy to fit the item should this be required.

Our extensive portfolio can be viewed by requesting our brochure at the address given on this website and we would be only too pleased to visit and offer a quotation free of charge for you to consider

Environmental Policy

Foxcote Joinery Limited pride ourselves on being an environmentally aware company. Our aim is to reduce waste and recycle wherever and whenever possible.

We are presently constructing a new workshop and our future vision is to recycle our by-products including sawdust and wood off-cuts in a more sustainable and efficient manner.

Currently these items are donated to local stables and private individuals but we are always striving to improve our policy in this respect and our intention is a more environmentally effective system of disposing of sawdust waste.

The plan therefore is to convert the sawdust into pellets; these pellets in turn can be used as a source of fuel to heat the new premises. We feel that this initiative will be of significant value to the company, not only reducing waste but also ensuring a cost effective system for heating the premises. We also hope to encourage others to adopt this scheme by selling on the pellets to both private and industrial customers.

Another important part of our environmental policy is using local suppliers wherever possible to maintain a low carbon footprint and only use wood from sustainable forests to reduce the devastation that can be brought about by over felling.

Finally, you can be assured that we would only order in our materials as required so as to avoid unnecessary wastage in the first instance.

Foxcote in Training and the Community

Foxcote Joinery Limited is proud to both train and employ people from both Kent and Sussex.

We recently have had two young people undertaking apprenticeships, and work closely with Hastings College and Sussex Downs to ensure that they are supported in any way possible.

We enjoy maintaining a directly employed workforce as this keeps the cost to ourselves and ultimately to our customers to a minimum and believe that training is the key element in this policy.

In the past year we have donated wood to local schools in an effort to help promote wood occupations to the next generation of carpenters and joiners as we are aware of the forecast skills shortage and endeavour to play our part in avoiding this situation.

Churchwood Primary School in St. Leonards also benefited from our community policy as we sponsored and crafted purpose built wooden picnic tables for the children to use in the playground.

We would be keen to hear from you if you have a project we may be able to help with and look forward to forging more partnerships in the coming years.
